I am at Trigg Beach

There is a 2 metre (6 feet) swell which has attracted plenty of surfers.
Up and down the coast, from Mettam’s Pool to Cottesloe Beach there are 180 - 200 surfers taking in some waves.
Unfortunately I can not show you because both my cameras are out of operation.
Live Cams? a misnomer. The cameras only take a picture every minute and that is what is posted on the "Live Cam" site.

just Trigg - (er) happy today then? I remember it well and all the other beaches along there! - all look the same heh - sand and waves?
Yes, sand and waves which is why I prefer the forest.
Today I made a decision to have a look at the surf after hearing the surf report.

I don't surf anymore, but when I was stationed in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, I meant a man 86 years old that still surfed and "taught" non surfers. A lot of youngsters (they had to be 14 and up) would pay him $30 for an hour of a lesson and he promised that by the end of the hour they would be surfing. He would only take 2 out at a time. This was out at Waikiki Beach were the surf doesn't get as high as the North Shore on Oahu.
