About Dogs and Cats as I continue to socialize here

JBR,
I wish. It was an Alvarez, don't remember the model (it was the 70's after all!) My primary these days is a Canadian Larrivee D03R. Sitka Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, Satin finish. Beautiful tone. In my past, I have owned a Gretsch semi-follow, a Les Paul Jr., An Epiphone, a fender Strat, and my "beater" is an Orangewood.

Well, Larrivees are good guitars. For a while I owned a Gibson SG-Standard, but I don't have any electric guitar or amp these days.

I do have a Martin D18, made around 1960 (bought used, and showing some wear). And a Martin D28 bought new around 2022, which is what I usually play (and that's become sporadic, but could change).

I, too, am sporadic. I sat down yesterday and tried to practice for a few hours. Ultimately, it depressed me as I have only a fraction of the talent I used to have. Now, arthritis and my muscle memory loss equals no stamina, sore fingers (in the joints - I still have good callouses) and shaky fingering. I was so good at one time in my life; it is a sad thing.

One day at a time. Rome was not built on day One.
