Bugsy is so entertaining! Have you ever seen a cat do this?

Our cat, Bugsy, has a routine that cracks us up every time. We call it the "matinee show" and the "dinner show". We will be having lunch or dinner and will hear him meowing loudly upstairs and we know the show is beginning. He meows while he carries his toy in his mouth from upstairs to downstairs and drops it in front of us. I'm going to take a video one of these days but here are pics. He is SO proud when he brings us his toy. He is more like a dog than a cat!

My Maisey doesn't play fetch... wish that she did... but she loves for me to throw things that she can chase and "beat up". Styrofoam peanuts, milk jug caps and gravel (when we're outside in the driveway. She always makes me laugh and smile!

Cats LOVE playing. Our cat would fetch sponge balls and bring them back. She’d also chase after squeaking mice on a string. Funny as ever to watch. I really miss our cat. She still played at 18 years old. She loved playing with elastic bands and paper bags & cardboard boxes.

Bugsy really doesn't play with anything. He just does the "toy trick". He brings it back upstairs in the morning and drops it outside my home office. Going up and down stairs is the only exercise he gets, so I'll take it!

Yup, need a little video of your fur baby. We have had different kitties who liked to chase things but not carry anything in their mouths. Our kitties also come when we call them by name and no, this is not because we have their food ready. :D We also have taken our kitties out on a leash and taken them for a walk. Our kitties let us know when they are bored and want to play. There is really a lot of misinformation about cats out there. Mostly, saying cats sleep all day, and don't care about their owners. We have cats that have come up to us when they somehow sensed that we were sad and would come and snuggle up to us. Dogs are wonderful but so are cats.
