It is a lovely video but I can't quite agree to much of it having beeen on my own for
45 years.
All I can think now is how wise I must be at age 92..wow!

You know, life isn't never easy.

I am going through something of a transition right now, since my wife is now with me. I was alone for years.

I not only grew used to being alone (albeit with my dog), but I loved it. Now she is here, and alongside the happiness of being reunited, comes a feeling that living alone is so much simpler.

I don't know what "wise" really is. Undoubtedly, 70 year olds have been through an awful lot, and have seen many things. But that alone doesn't mean they're smart, correct, or even worth listening to.

As a sign of wisdom? I don't need a list of reasons, arguments, or logic to understand why I enjoy being alone. It's just something that I enjoy. I am aware of how it reduces noise and chaos, however, and I do savor that.

67 now and I've enjoyed being alone way before 70 and hopefully way past 70.
