Does anyone put together miniature room kits?

This is the first one I made. Did it during the COVID lockdown. I improvised with some of my own fabric and added the cat. I’m working on a bookstore now.

This is very cool. I didn’t see the cat also in the first photo. That’s very good. Years ago I made a dollhouse. I made all my own furniture. Mine wasn’t nearly as detailed as yours.. I especially like the shadows. Is that a real light that turns off and on?

A local woman does these inside of antique tin boxes, wooden crates, and other suitable found containers that relate to the interior that she creates.

I've been working for a couple of years on a seaside diorama (might post pix of it later); I think I've kind of wrung all the enjoyment out of it I can and as Pinky says above, I don't really have the room for it so it makes my space too cluttered so I'm probably going to be dismantling it.

Thank you! Yes, the light is real the kit came with one that ad to be attached with wires, but I got the battery one on Amazon.

I've always wanted a dollhouse and thought a single room would be something I could do that wouldn't take up as much room.
I was thinking of making one inside a shoe box. It looks like fun!

I adore miniatures! I had a friend (she is gone now) whose father made these--he made her a dollhouse and he also made a dentist's office. Great stuff.
