My Trip to Bountiful made me almost psychotic. I made my kids promise me they wouldn't ever let that happen to me (altho now I don't even recall exactly what that was).I can't name just one movie. Some of these would not be considered inspiring at all by most people, but each of them had a way of inspiring me. My favorite movie of all time is in bold.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - Spencer Tracy, 1941
The Trip To Bountiful - Geraldine Page, 1985
The Doctor - William Hurt, 1991
Leaving Las Vegas - Nicolas Cage, 1995
The Straight Story - Richard Farnsworth, 1999
The Family Man - Nicolas Cage, 2000
The Mountain Between Us - Kate Winslet, 2017
How could you hate 2001? I loved it, saw it several times, always stoned. You might want to try that.Hate that movie, @Paladin1950. HATE!
I saw The Mountain Between Us at the theater when it came out. I wish I owned it, but no. Would like to see it again.@MACKTEXAS, We enjoy some of the same movies: The Doctor, Leaving Las Vegas and Family Man.
Given that, I tried to find, The Mountain Between Us as I am a Kate Winslet fan, but alas, it is not currently playing on any platforms I use.
I'll have to wait. Thank you for mentioning it; I hadn't heard about it, previous.
