What have you bought recently?

Okay, then. I didn't go to a garden center and didn't buy any flowers. Medal, please.

We did go Walmarting where I got some stuff I needed. All but $12.47 was covered by the balance on my Kaiser "free food" card. So I "spent" about $50, but it only cost me $12.47. I like that kind of accounting.

DD is going to do the weekly grocery shopping at Publix this afternoon. I gave her $5 for a MegaMillions ticket for tonight. Isn't it about time for me to win? Heck, I'm not even greedy. I don't care if I don't win it all, but a little would be nice, yanno?

I had to. DD is useless at supervising me. Garden center. $12.49 for yellow dwarf zinnias.

I'm useless at supervising her, too. She spent $20 and change.

When we go back on Friday for my interview, I'm gonna spend anothe4 $12.49 for more yellow dwarf zinnias because a dozen isn't enough to fill the space.

At Safeway yesterday, bought for just $2.49 each, two of the below 4 types of Primo Taglio (Lucerne brand) mozzarella cheese snacks.

https://www.safeway.com/shop/product-details.960455713.html

What I really like, is the small quantity, very small physical size, at a low price snack choice that can be taken on day trips packaged as is without making any mess. Safeway also sells 12-packs for just a bit more than $2 each.

The tiny plastic vacuum wrap packaging is ideal. Easy to open by spreading the top that conveniently stays put as one works their way down the cylinder of cheese and thinly sliced meat. For storage, needs to be kept in a refrigerator. After eating two in the parking lot before driving home, I went back into the store and bought 4 more. Will definitely be a sometimes lunch item tossed into my daypack on hiking days.

I already had one of these for my once daily vitamins and supplements, but find filling it every two weeks to be a pain. With two of them, the refill process drops to four weeks.

I ignore the AM/PM designations.
I have this one.... there's no am/pm sections but there are 7 seperate sections.. and it literally holds hundreds of pills...it comes with little sticker so you can identify your meds... and I don't have to fill it for weeks at a time I've tried many supplement/med boxes this is by far the best...

Thrifting yesterday, I found a Royal Robbin’s travel dress for $25. There were loops for a tie, but no tie. Something I never do, I asked about a discount. New price was $11 and I got a 30% discount with a coupon. I’d also been looking at a purse for a wedding and forgot it. Went back today and it was gone. Oh well, it gives me something to shop for before September.

I bought this too @StarSong based on Holly's recommendation and I love it. Holds all I need!

They've just opened a large nice looking thrift store in town. I will be checking that out!

why is that called a Traveller dress . In the uk that would mean a dress for a Gypsy... :)
Traveler is the term that RR uses to define clothes that are designed primarily for travel. All the companies have a line that is designed for this; they just use different terms to define them. Easy to wear and wash, no wrinkles, etc.

Not too exciting, and inline DC charging power monitor:

Should help in fiddling with charging cables from solar panels, at least the lower-voltage ones which can be a little finicky. It is supposed to accept both DC5521 and DC5525 plugs and jacks. I sure hope so!

Should be less trouble than guessing, trusting power station displays, and jockeying a multimeter and probes.

Paid a little more on Amazon, but I didn't want to wait 6 to 8 weeks for AliExpress.

About $120 worth of clear, sealable, plastic bags for individually bagging certain orders. 95% of our orders are delivered in bulk, but as a courtesy to our schools' liaisons we separate, bag and label all staff and club orders. (One of the little extras that sets us apart from competitors.)

Bought them from Amazon on my AMZ business account. Very handy to have both a business and personal account.

I have wanted windows in my bedrooms that I can clean from the outside. The building is 48 years old and the HOA does not hire anybody to wash the outside of the windows. You can imagine how they look. Plus, because the building has shifted through the years. I cannot close the windows all the way otherwise I am not strong enough to open them. I’m on the third floor and it would be expensive to hire somebody just to come and clean from the outside.

Yesterday I went to three showrooms to price, tilt in windows that literally tilt in so you can clean them from the inside. They were 1 K each, but I only have one window on each of my two bedrooms so that was fine. They have to come out and measure and then it’s about another 4 to 6 weeks before the windows arrive and can be installed.

Bare Minerals BarePro 24-Hour Skin Perfecting Powder Foundation, from Sephora. It's an eye-watering $42 bucks (USD) per compact, but it is sooo much better than anything I've found in a drugstore. Thus, I use it sparingly.

what is the difference between an Amazon Business , and personal accounts ? I've always wondered

To start with, I use a different CC.

Also, Amazon's business to business prices are lower - in this case,13% lower.

Another benefit: Our company's sales are about 98% wholesale, 2% retail, meaning only about 2% of our product is not resold. We don't have to pay California sales tax (9.5%) on wholesale sales. We do collect (and remit to the state) sales tax on the little bit we sell retail.

Our wholesale customers (schools) collect, track and remit to the state, taxes on everything they sell in their student stores. Since the packaging is part of what we (and they) charge for, taxes on those supplies are deferred until they are paid by the ultimate customer.

Amazon has proof of our business's tax exempt status.

Ultimately, I realized a 25% savings on this purchase, plus it makes my accounting easier. Free delivery. Ordered yesterday, it will arrive today.

If I couldn't get these from AMZ business, I would have bought it retail and just paid the tax.... for $15 it wouldn't have been worth my while to fill out forms at a big box office supply company.

I can seamlessly move from my personal account to my business account without having to sign back into Amazon.
