Good that my new HP Omen 35L desktop is up and running now I can move ahead with. Need to research then Amazon order a high end keyboard/mouse combo to replace the one will send back today. And then need to move ahead purchasing a TBD used AWD SUV and dealing with its insurance issues.

Sometimes all these things happen at the same time and theaten to be overwhelming.. but I find if I don't rush, everything goes smoothly... I hope it does for you..
 
had a nice visit with my brother wife last night. they have been in Florida over the winter. ate pizza and had a few beers. should be brother AND his wife! anyway sat outside at pub in the perfect weather. talked alot about things,and no politics! yay! we are so different I'm an introvert and he and his wife extrovert. but we get along so well.

I have EZsee yellow keyboards. they work well in low sun days here and night with little light. USB.

Wednesday 11:46am PDT 6/11/25. Just began mic'ing a Progresso can of Lentil soup. Little me, will eat half now washed down with apple juice, then the rest for dinner. As I type, a brother is in surgery for a catheter procedure heart valve replacement.

And mid morning spent a couple hours web searching for a used AWD SUV. Found some 2020/21/22 possibilities to buy for =<$25k but since my 2007 Forester won't be able to be SMOG certified with California registration due in 3 weeks , am in no hurry unhappy about being forced into the situation, and choices were less than ideal, the wiser strategy will be to wait another week in case something better shows.

WIFI super slow all morning after storm last night. Finally stopped working, so switched to phone hotspot. When I call WIFI provider, not even an estimate on time for service restoration due to tower damage from storm last night. The last time this happened, WIFI was slow 7 days.

I saw videos of the storm that hit Texas. I wondered if anyone here was affected. It looked wicked.

So many places have had really bad hail and 80 mph winds. I didn't have that at my house, but could be it was worse wherever the tower is. I guess slow WIFI isn't such a big worry compared to home damage. Will be glad when the spring season is finally over. Hope all is ok in your area.
 
I forgot to post on here this morning... it's now 12.40pm, and the sun is starting to come ut after a grey start. Warm in the kitchen where I have the back dor open onto the Sunny SW facing garden which get all the sun until later afternoon or early evening..

Just been trying to do a deal with the Gas / Elec suppliers.. they'll get back to me later hopefully...

Yesterday we went out for an early dinner Father's Day celebration for DSIL because he's leaving in the morning for a 9-day trip to run bowling tournaments in Las Vegas.

DD is gone to her work from the office job this morning, and I'm doing laundry. There are maintenance things to do in the garden if I can get motivated to do them.

This afternoon is another scattered-thunderstorm day. They seem to "scatter" over us every day. It's getting tiresome.

my hair barberess coming by at 7pm to make me bald LOL...
Some soreness at various locations but that is to be expected...yesterday was bad copd day, hoping for better....catch you later on.... :love: :coffee::devilish:
 
Morning all, on my early morning walk at 6:50 temps was 61 sun was trying to come out as I went around the building once before breakfast
This morning, my friend, Mary is picking me up at 9:30,this wk's 'road trip' to Target looking for 3 drawer plastic cart. I bought one 2 years ago need another one
The rest of my day some paper work, take afternoon walk before the rain arrives,read NYT
At dinner tonight at 5:30, I've invited Alexei{ Marcia&Dave's younger son, we used to go to the movies together before Covid changed things} next door neighbor/church member Bill to join us,already called in reservation.I haven't seen Alexei in a couple of weeks, look forward to hearing what's going on with him
Tonight, I'll be watching Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals Florida vs Oilers,the past 3 games have been intense I watch the 1st period, halfway through the 2nd, can;t stay awake for the end
 
Good morning to everyone, yesterday we had a thunder storm with heavy rain. Wouldn't you know we were driving home on the highway going toward our home and couldn't see with the heavy rain on the windshield. I pulled over at a turn spot and waited for it to subside somewhat but cars were speeding by with no problem, I guess. I finally could see a little better but had to drive slow until the turn off to my home.
