I love Skechers, I have about 7 or 8 pairs maybe more... I like Adidas as well.. and several other brands but if I was only allowed to have one brand it would be Skechers.... numero Uno..

Yeah LA Gear was a short lived deal. I suppose maybe their start up ran into some issues maybe? I don't remember seeing them again after that sneaker I had. Maybe they had to go back to the drawing table and start again.
No apparently they were around for quite a long time... through the 80's and 90's but they copied all the big names styles and designs and reebock etc were always suing them. Then they paid 20 million to Michael Jackson to wear LA gear clothes and trainers on his next album, and he didn;t make the album so they sued him.. and so it went on, until finally the owner decided to try again with another brand, and Skechers was born...
I had my LA Gears in the late 80s. I just never saw anymore of them after that here. Or wasn't paying attn I guess. I like Skechers too. I had several pairs of those over the years.

Oh you need to really try a few different types of skechers, because many of them are very supportive and are used by nurses and factory workers who are on their feet all dayI can't wear them for work because they don't offer enough comfort and support for my feet so I've been buying Hokas. Hokas are expensive though. If I ever get myself a desk job I can go back to buying Skechers again.
You got that wrong. The owner of LA Gear quit there and went on to start Sketchers, but the two shoes companies did not merge and both still exist.
I didn't say they merged I said the person who started and owned LA gear... is the same person who started Skechers...
I know they're the most comfortable that I own... altho' I do have one pair of Adidas which as really comfortable.... and another pair of Sallinger
these which are £90 on the skecher website ( they're boots)... were £25 on Amazon 2 days ago, so I ordered them, they arrived yesterday.. and today they've been reduced to just £20...I can't believe it...so I've ordered another pair...and I'll sell those...yes those white ones I bought 2 days ago... are Skechers Uno.Skechers are now the 3rd most succeful sportwear company in the world
