I’ve made some changes that will hopefully address the speed issues reported by some members.

If you’re seeing excessive human verification prompts (which are ideally only shown to suspicious traffic), please let me know.
@Matrix ... the verify you're human thingy popped up once.
Likely shortly after you implemented it or adjusted settings.
I closed my browser and reopened it. No more verify prompts.

Thing is, I save all SeniorForums cookies and never have to sign in when opening Firefox and clicking on SF shortcut.
I'm signed in automatically every time with the saved cookies stuff.
So that was kind of confounding in my mind when I saw the verify prompt.
But as I said, closed and reopened the browser and no more verify.
All good, Matrix. Thanks :)

I did not see posts (#57-60) until now. I have not had verify you're human prompts, but I have been compelled to log in multiple times today, even though I was already logged in. That's why I started this thread earlier. Just mentioning in case there is any relationship between the two issues.

That’s strange. Wales is part of the UK, right? I’ve set it so the UK shouldn’t see the human verification prompts.
Yes…I was surprised.
And when I returned this evening I got the ‘Oops! We’ve run into some problems message.’

Today was asked to sign in when I already was.
I still get that occasionally. When signing in, there is a check mark in the block that says "Stay signed in?" - - - In the past, I unchecked it, but now I leave it checked and that has reduced requests to sign in.

When I clicked on your reply, Matrix, I was logged out.
Sorry about that. At this point, I can only suggest clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. If it only happens occasionally, I recommend trying to live with it for now.
