Not sure you needed to hear this but it helped to say it.
It is now time to eat after waiting an hour after taking pantoprazole. I have not been hungry but oatmeal and banana should work.

Don’t anyone be jealous. I‘m going to get out the seam ripper and remove labels from some clothing. Almost any clothing tag makes me extremely itchy. This will probably keep me annoyed occupied for over an hour. Only three items. Whoever sews these on must have a subtle vendetta against me. Tightest and shortest stitches possible and reinforced for good measure.

Those tags at the back of the neck are the worst! I cut them off but unfortunately have ruined a few shirts in the process.

That describes my childhood perfectly and our bedrooms were all upstairs. We also did not get much cross ventilation because it was a Cape Cod with slanted ceilings. We’d have to leave the doors open because there were only two bedrooms and there was only one window in each bedroom.

OK day today......BUT.....was waiting all day for an Amazon delivery (not an important one, but I wanted it) that was scheduled for today. Site said shipped. It is now 9PM and I asked Alexa about it...delivery date NOW tomorrow. Darn
 
I had an odd thing happen today.Last year a friendship I had since age 12 ended. We haven’t spoken since. i wrote about it on this forum.
Today, I got this message from my old friend’s daughter:
Hey!! How are you? We are throwing a last minute surprise 70th birthday party for my mom & are only inviting family & her closest friends. It is on her bday, the 29th at Camden yards. We rented a suite, it will be catered. Was really hoping that you could come. Of course your husband is invited too lol. I'm so sorry this is so last min, but we kind of need to know asap if you can come. If you could call me that would be great!
It threw me for a loop and I didn’t know what to say. I thought it was very odd that her daughter was inviting me last minute like that.
As I was contemplating how I should respond, I got this message:

Omg I just talked to my brothers and they said we overbooked, but was thinking about you! I am so sorry! We only had a certain number of tickets & my bros filled all the slots before I messaged you!

I don’t know what to make of it but it was kind of hurtful. I didn’t respond.

I think she didn't know or she'd forgotten that you were no longer friends with her mother and someone else reminded her...
