What public behavior do you find most irritating?

In a crowd when people use their strollers like a cow catcher and ram unsuspecting persons in the ankles.
This is very dangerous. In the past have been knocked off balance and almost fell into the stroller.

The only public behavior I find irritating is someone in a gigantic vehicle, on a cellphone, while going down a parking lot aisle. Put the phone away. You could run over someone's kid and not even know it. Wouldn't that be nice.

Pretty much all of the above.

I will add (since I'm a housekeeper for a living) people who make a mess in a bathroom and tell no one and then someone goes to use it and there's gross things on the toilet or floor or sink or even door handles.

Edit question: why do some people stop way back from the limit line/crosswalk at a Red light?

I can tell you why I do it — if I am in the left-hand turn lane at certain traffic lights in town:

because I know those are traffic lights that there will be 18 wheelers needing to make their turn onto the street I’m sitting at the traffic light. If I sit at the limit line, they don’t have room to make their turn so I stay back far enough to give them ample room. I have lost count of the semi drivers that have waved a thank you to me for being smart enough to do that.

When we are on the highway going to town and as passing a 18 wheeler in front of us...reading and texting on the phone!
Have seen this also on big major highways.
So have I! The speed limits out here (Great Plains) are very high. It's extremely unnerving to see people blow past you doing 80 mph (~129 km/h) while looking at their phone.

I do the same, when I see a big-rig that's going to need some space turning...don't want any tire tracks across my hood.

Driver's who risk life and limb to pass you on the Right, only to make a right turn at the next block.

I have had morons pass me on the right at just before an intersection while in my police cruiser. I guess they weren’t surprised when I pulled them over around the corner because they pulled over not more than 50 feet from the corner.

I also had drivers pass on the right at intersections. As for drivers that stop too far back from the limit line, I have found from reading about driver’s mistakes, it may be because they are new drivers, they can’t see over the steering wheel, so they may misjudge the distance to the limit line. Of course, it’s possible that they have been rear ended at an intersection and was pushed over the limit line before.

I don't think I ever saw Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, it was more of an 'adult' movie. and I was still a kid then.
Liz Taylor and Richard Burton were awesome. In my opinion they didn't play, they lived the script.

I watched the movie at first as an adult too. My wife and I like it, I even bought the DVD.

I'm feeling like I should add Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf to my play list. It's actually available on Netflix, but only for those that pay more for ad free service. Found it on ebay for $4.99 + $0.75 shipping .

actually they were really toxic.., towards each other... terrible really.... he was an alcoholic, she was a pill popper extraordinaire ... she said he was the love of her life, but she said that about 2 other of her husbands inlcuding Mike Todd .. she couldn't see a man with another woman, she had to prove she could steal him, as she did with her best friends' husband Eddie Fisher... and after she divorced Burton she couldn't stand to see him with another woman and remarried him... horrible toxic pair.. both British ..just as an aside..lol

Spitting. IN public places. Some people don't understand the meaning of "personal space " in elevators, and on more than one occasion, I have had to say...Move away from me, now. JIM.

I tell you what gets on my wick... I'll be in the house, windows slightly ajar as always, and I'll hear a loud conversation... and because it's so loud I look out the window...no-one there.. not a soul to be seen... conversation continues getting ever louder, and now I can hear the person on the other end as well ... after about 5 minutes I look out and see the person walking past on the phone...talking so loudly and equally their opposite number.. that I heard them as they walked down the the road NEXT to mine .. and before they reached my road and into view ..

I've never understood why people feel the need to shout into cell phones.

I know it's just incredible, and these are almost always people under 50 ..ish... that have lived all their lives with technology, not some old biddy whose not used to smart phones or technology ..so there's no reason for them to be shouting down a phone, ..but it's almost endemic...

I could even understand it if I lived in a busy city or suburban area and there was lots of traffic and surrounding noises..but No..I don't , I live in a very quiet area...

Most of those. She wasn't a drunk, but I had my suspicions about drugs at one point, but maybe that was just me, grasping at straws trying to find an explanation for her behavior.
