Ladies, Keeping Your Arms Covered

I am struggling with this issue…. My arms aren’t too bad yet but when I put on a tank top or sleeveless dress I’m thinking, “hmm, how much longer can I pull this off?”

Maybe for now the answer is lightweight, 3/4 length sleeve jacket or shrug

I wear a short sleeve or my favorite, an elbow-sleeve tee shirt.
I do not feel comfortable wearing a sleeveless top or dress anymore at 70 years old. It seems that I am adding length to my sleeves as years progress as well as length to my shorts that are now pretty much becoming capris!😉

I just turned up the cuffs of my jeans a few turns and called them my new shorts.

Even as a slender young thing I was never comfortable showing too much skin.

One of our favorite local restaurants is letting all it's waitresses wear shorts this summer and when I say shorts we're talking about cut-offs that are actually cut off above the leg line. I'm no prude but there are things I'd rather not see while eating.

Same here, I am not a prude either, but I prefer a little length!
As you can see on the picture I posted, I am wearing shorts but I am more and more in favor of capris. The shorts length are good but when I sit it comes up a little and I do not like it anymore!

I don’t have creepy skin but I always cover my skin when I’m outside in the sun. But then we don’t t usually get very hot days and when we do I rarely venture out.
I don't have crepey skin either so no need to cover up except when going in to an air conditioned restaurant or something. I have a super thin sweater to wear just to block the intense switch from hot to very cold.

I like Mid thigh or Knee length shorts best or 3/4 capri's

I don’t think we’re terrifying anyone. Now, if it were different saggy body parts that were visible, then it would be the horror.
I so get it. Just about 10 years ago I heard of women getting ******l plastic surgery. I thought what the hell. Thats just got to be worse than an epsomite. Now I know what they were talking about. I'm not kidding when I say the new thing here is to get implants to plump things up. Can't they wait until their in their sixties or so? Good luck with their implants and enjoy double the fun when you get older! The blanked out first word starts with a V just in case you don't get it.

Indoors I’ll wear whatever I want. I’m not tanned and toned.

Outside I don’t like the sun beating down on me. I have sunshirts with a high SPF. They are hot. I’d like to find a couple of neutral shorter sleeved shirts that I like.

Same here but I'm not sure how high their UPF - just checked. Long sleeved Pudolla fishing shirts for men are ratred 50 SPF and come in a ton of colors. They are very light but I wear them nearly every day and they've never torn even working in the garden and working with the dog. Apparently they come from China though that isn't easy to find.

I prefer elbow length sleeves and capris. Why subject others to body parts I don't like looking at myself. Even so, my lower arms are often a blotchy purple from thin skin, blood thinners and bloodwork. I was much cuter at 80 than I am at 88.
