Took the car to the main dealer in Elgin for its MoT and service. All OK.
The centre of Elgin has completely gone down the pan. Just about every shop is closed and those that are open are mostly charity shops or 'nail bars'. I gather that many shops have relocated to out of town retail parks, leaving the town centre a bit of a wasteland.

The doctor said it was brief and then he disappeared for the weekend. I still have questions and I still have pain. He said my heart was weak. Did it actually stop? I don't know yet. I have an appointment today for an ECHO.
 

OMG....well guess whose not going to be sleeping tonight for the pain... and drinking alcohol on the beach guaranteed to dehydrate him.. he will pay dearly for this...

Had TeleHealth with my therapist for 38 minutes. I really got told off about my entitled attitude to life. She made a lot of sense. I have a lot to think about.

TeleHealth was no longer working on my phone, as my storage is full and I don't know how to unfill it. My son bought me a webcam for my computer. Since the screen is big, it was an experience like actually being together.
 
Almost complete my DIY project of removing the old clear case water filter system & replacing it with new blue case filter that is dual stage. New filter has outer layer that removes contaminents the inner layer removes Iron & Manganese. Still have some hole filling work to do on the wall.

Happy Tuesday, the first day of July. Another warm one here today with a high of 92°, but the house is a cool 68° at the moment after fans brought in air from last night's low of 60°. By 6 PM the indoor temps will be in the high 70s so I'll click on the AC for a few hours — but a few hours sure beats running it all day.

Dinner last night was summertime on a plate: fresh corn on the cob and watermelon. It was so darn good that I ordered 8 more ears (pickup) while they're still on sale at 3/$1.00. Still have half of that small melon plus fresh strawberries, grapes, nectarines, apples, and I can't remember what else.

Easy day today... I've got a book calling my name.

Matrix has just posted that 3 out of 7 newbies who have just joined were scammers, and he had to get rid of them..and he;s asking people not to privately message newbies until they have at least 200 posts under teir belt. Very sensible..

Please be aware of online scammers


However I want to know.. because I'm extremely nosey..lol... who if any of you privately PM's newbies?... pease say none of you do it... but Some people are definitely doing it, and Matrix wants it to stop...

This week is sort of going to be a private one for me. I had my new Razor in my left hand and decided
To shorten my mustache wid it. Well, I have a good 1" x 1/2" open wound that will take a couple of weeks
to heal. I won't do much till mid July. Sorry all you lovers out there. Entertainment has become private.

Never cut myself like it before. I just jibe I's meant to chill half of July. ... :ROFLMAO: ...

Morning folks..it;s 5.55am... it's daylight, I've just opened up the house...I haven't been to bed at all, I've been up all night, I just couldn't get the bedroom cool enough to sleep, so I'm still up... . It's 33 deg in this office room.....I've just been out to the car to get something, and its really cool out there, walking back in here through the kitchen door was literally like walking into a Botanic garden greenhouse...


I've got to be at the dentist in a few hours , so I have to stay awake now...

The World Weather channel says you're going to get rain and be cold there all the rest of the Week Doll. Enjoy!
St. Louis is heading for a Scorcher Weekend again. Such a good sign of great Corn Crops, they 4' and above now.
The Horse Radish in the Valley is looking Great too.
 
went out last night with my brother, his wife and her twin sister. drank some beer and ate to much. I have a little hangover so took some Tylenol and drinking lots of coffee. feeling better now this old man can't do that very Often. invited to twin sisters house to watch fireworks Friday. plan to not over indulge.

I never private message any member, newbie or not. It'd be a form of being :sneaky:ily disrespecting of regular members. Imo. Scammers are slime.

we have rain this morning, I can't tell you how happy I am, altho' it's suppose to stop again in about an hour.... it's still warm in the house, but I have the windows open despite the rain and the fans blowing the cooler air in...we're not getting any more after this..until Sunday with a brief shower, and then again on Tuesday... but at least the temps have dropped which is a big relief....
