Have you arrived? Do you have a Wikipedia page?
Or would you like to have a Wikipedia page?
Or would you like to have a Wikipedia page?
Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia. If you're kind of famous, you get a biography of your life in it. If you're a budding scientist, author, criminal, hero, noted person, etc, you have "arrived" when you get a Wikipedia page.no and probably not, cause I don't know what it is !!!!??
Who needs a common or garden Wikipedia page? None of those on Wiki can boast their own Senior Forums thread:Have you arrived? Do you have a Wikipedia page?

It bothers me that most of the churches in my town have all their information on Facebook so that people like me who don't belong can't find out what time the services start.I don't think I'll ever have one. I have no kind of page.
Long ago, I signed up for Facebook and was "approved" (hahaha - how nice!) but before I could ever use it, they took down my account because I used an email to sign up - which was okay per their sign up instructions - but apparently they wanted a phone number as well or instead of.
I didn't pursue it because the only reason I wanted a Facebook account was to be able to view pages of businesses that have no website of their own - only a Facebook page. Maybe I'm better off sticking with businesses that either have a website or have been recommended to me by someone.
Yes, and during the covid lockdown, my church only had services on their Facebook page. Every time I tried watching them, I was battling difficulties since I had no Facebook account. Sometimes I could refresh the page multiple times and see it, but soon after, lose it.It bothers me that most of the churches in my town have all their information on Facebook so that people like me who don't belong can't find out what time the services start.
That's why I generally do not trust it. Surprisingly enough—or perhaps not so surprising—some authors (i.e., in academic fields) try to pass off Wikipedia entries as legitimate sources. Ummmm, no. The publishers prohibit that, thank goodness.Yikes! I just checked, and Wiki still says this:
"Welcome to Wikipedia
the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit."
I get frustrated with businesses that have only a Facebook page and not a formal website. I'm not sure what sticks in my craw more: (1) that I can't access it because I don't have Facebook or (2) their implicit assumption that everyone has an account.I didn't pursue it because the only reason I wanted a Facebook account was to be able to view pages of businesses that have no website of their own - only a Facebook page. Maybe I'm better off sticking with businesses that either have a website or have been recommended to me by someone.
They can edit, but it still has to be approved. They try.Yikes! I just checked, and Wiki still says this:

Did you initiate this yourself? Nothing wrong with that. You have a history in the entertainment industry.
I looked at the site. Wow! You were very busy as a musician and had a very interesting life!
