In recent news a man burned to death in a hyperbaric chamber. Then someone else died of the pneumonic plague. Neither of which was ever on my radar…

There was a story in the news months ago...a homeless person fell through a roof and landed in this big kitchen fryer and burned to death.

My joke at the time was...

"Sadly, my father went the same way."

I took lots of flak for that one!

Of course, I didn't know what a 'hyperbaric chamber' was. It's some kind of high oxygen pressure cooker thing. Next question is how did this man close the thing, if he was inside it???????

I thought this thread might be about the death penalty.

Recently an article about the young man who killed 4 college girls in Idaho(?) mentioned that he was offered a plea deal that would prevent his facing death by Firing Squad!

Has anyone been sentenced to that fate in this country?
