Hello, all. 
It's extremely hot, here too. In spite of being in the northeast.
Mid 90's, so far. Early afternoon. But Not over 100!
I had p.t., this morning. A longer session than usual, and challenging, but I did it and I feel good about that.
I have a longer time before my next p.t. session there, due to my other medical appointments and also to her vacation.
We made some plans for what i can do at home in the meantime, so I'll see how that goes.
It's a very short drive to the p.t. place, and the car runs wonderfully now,!!
after those (expensive!) repairs, last week.

@Kaila I am glad to read that the PT session went well and that your car is running fine.
It is very hot here especially today. It is 3pm and the temperature is 97F or 36C and very humid. The weatherman told us this morning that it will feel like 115F or 46C!
The landscape team has not come yet. I would not be surprised if they cancel this mowing session as it is so hot.

Back from the dentist. 
Two fillings today, but one of them was apparently quite large and took forever. I was in the chair for 40 minutes and most of it was that one cavity. The other was very small. Anyway, it's over; I did it! Yay. 
I have two more, very small cavities, but the dentist said they are minor and can wait a while. Thank the blue skies because I need a break.
On our way home from the dentist, we passed a bank sign that gave the current temperature at 100F/37.7C. It's super hot for you in Florida too, I see, @Rossana! Sheesh! It will be lovely when the heat wave breaks.
@Kaila, good news about your success at physical therapy and your smoothly running car.

Hey hot as hell here too Right now it's 92 degrees Fahrenheit and Samba 6:30 in the evening The heat index for the real feel was over 100 but I stayed in as usual so didn't bother me.
Another nurse came to see me today from my insurance company I don't know what the other one is from i'm confused.
There's too many people that all do the same thing and I don't know where they're from 'cause they're from all different places.
And she had me walk with my Walker and then turn around and she timed me.. I didn't meet the average of 13 seconds to get up in the chair and walk to where she was standing down the hall make you turn and go back and sit down and it took me 33 seconds, So I've got some work to do it's my own fault, I haven't been doing the exercises every day that rich my first PT Guy taught me.
so we're gonna see if I can get someone to help me with the house 'cause my arm is not good my arm is worse than my walking so I don't know yeah I don't want to talk about it but I pretty much out of Commission with not much to say but I enjoy reading your posts all of you so much and it's difficult typing with my left hand and right now as I do sometimes ,I'm using talk to text feature but it gets messed up or I'm not speaking clearly enough so I'll go back and edit it. I just wanna say everyone have a lovely evening

You’re obviously feeling pretty rough, Rose. This aging business isn’t easy. I know I should be dedicated like Kaila and do my exercises.
It’s hot here too but not anywhere near as roasty as in the eastern or SW US. We’re at 90 today. I had one short walk early in the day and then did some running around downtown. It’s not so bad when you can pop into shops for a quick break.
DH has had a bad arm/shoulder and finally it got so bad he can’t drive. Saw the locum today who finally ordered an Xray and then when it’s not clear, he’ll have an MRI. The system makes him go through these steps. He’s off to a physio too. The doctor says this is called old age.

A couple of days ago you mentioned a fall. I knew you were having some health issues but somehow I missed that you had had a fall. I hope your recovery is coming along and that you will be as good as new soon. It was sad to learn that you had to send your sweet doggie elsewhere but nice to know that he is in good hands. I wish you the best. Keep posting all that wonderful art and humor. I don't know where you find it all.

Good morning, Kaila & Friends. It's been real with this heat dome... and quite miserable! I was thinking it would never stop.... *but* if we (in my area, not sure about others) can endure just one more day of it, the next four days starting tomorrow are supposed to be in the 70s. That leaves me, as the saying goes, "giddy with excitement."

Glad your dental visit is over and done with for the time being @Medusa. I've just got the appointment with the hospital dentist next month, not looking forward to that but trying to put it out of my mind for now.
Sorry to hear you are struggling @RadishRose, I hope you can get some help around the house. I fully understand what you mean about your arm as it's my arm that is the problem and it is so frustrating not being able to do the things I used to. I mentioned yesterday about eldest son doing family history and I knew that I had birth/death/marriage certificates from one side of the family but could I hell get to the box where I thought they were! Youngest son will be round later and he can get it but I hate not being able to do it myself. However, I realise I'm not the only one in that situation so I'll shut up and just be grateful I'm alive. 
Rocco is here now and telling me that he's hungry.... he taps his food bowl... so I'd better go and feed him.

Good afternoon Kaila and friends
I just woke up from a nap. I don’t have a nap everyday. Last night I woke up at 2:00 and couldn’t fall back to sleep.
Today we are making cucumber relish . We have about 20 fresh cucumbers from the garden. Everyday there’s new produce to pick. Today we picked these cucumbers and zucchinis. Today we are making cucumber relish , tomorrow we are making zucchini relish.
I hope you are all doing well.

Good morning @Kaila and co. Just having a few minutes on here before my son arrives. Then the computer etc. will be moved so he can undercoat the wall. He's got a couple of days off work so will come back tomorrow and put final coat on.
I'll take Rocco out while son does the painting. It's a bit overcast at the moment, warmish but not hot, so it's ideal weather for dog walking... that's if he's in the mood, he can be a stubborn so and so.
Other than that, nothing else on the agenda today. Have a good day everyone.

Wake up, Kaila & Co.... it's Thursday and it's finally not going to be what feels like 150 degrees, so something to celebrate. 
I know I've said this before (and numerous times!) but I so look forward to dropping by here every day and checking on all of you. It is a "safe haven" for me, and I can never thank Kaila enough for creating this oasis.

Well, the high is 90F/32C , today with cloud cover and chances of thunderstorms. So overall, much better. Tomorrow the high is supposed to drop all the way to 76F/24C! Freaking yay to that!
