What are YOU listening to in 2025 ?

1967/68: The Troubadour, West Hollywood. Just prior to the rise in charts and becoming known,
He walked onto the stage, barefoot, shy and sang this song entirely with his eyes closed. He had that presence
about him and somehow.. we just all knew.
I will add here to keep things clear, we saw him about 2 months before
we 1st heard them on the radio. Once you heard him, you knew it.
I figure they were doing the scene appearances to get them a bit more known. That is why
I can't remember clearly the year I saw him.

I remember the radio station discussing, repeatedly for a week what happened when Jim passed on. Was so upset there was no music on the radio... that thing was my lifeline when I was a young kid. Only after that did I realize what songs this Jim guy sang.

I know what you mean, I slept with one of those small transistor radios under my pillow playing through the night.
