How do you let it go????

Every once in a while I have a dream that I am still at work and I'm worried about some assignment that I am supposed to have finished but I haven't even started it and am not even sure what it is I'm supposed to do.

Then there's the occasional school dream where I am back in college and I haven't been to any classes in weeks and I don't even know where the classes are or what days and times they meet and I'm wandering around trying to find them and worrying that I am going to flunk out because I haven't done any work in any of them.

Funny thing, even though I'm in college in my dream the building that I am wandering around in looking for my classes is my old Junior High School. It's always a big relief when I wake up and find out it was just a dream Lol!
 
It takes time and it depends on the individual. I've never let go after someone tells me to. It's a process and can take a long time for many. Take care ❤️

:) The problem is that not letting go can morph into long-lasting compulsive thought which can lead to mental health problems.
Sometimes we need to discipline ourselves to focus on the good and happy and grateful thoughts for awhile.
