Neighbor Across the Street's Pet

We didn't even know our neighbors had this cool turtle for a pet, her name's Missy and she's 8 years old and about 75 lb.; they got her as a baby.

My Grandma brought one back from Oklahoma long time ago. Grandpa even made it a shallow cement pool. Had it for years.

our daughter has 3 turtles that happily live in a large aquarium in her bathroom! The oldest one is about 10 years old but not quite as big as your neighbor's. They are very quiet pets!

I hope they have someone to take her once they pass. Turtles live a long time. Missy is cute..

Makes me think of the giant tortoises we got to ride in the Children's section of the San Diego Zoo as kids.

My sister's turtle is 57 years old. He'll probably outlive them.
