It's time for tea...

The title of this thread makes me think of this lyric by a well known band...

"People running round, it's five o'clock
Everywhere in town, it's getting dark
Everyone you see is full of life
It's time for tea and meet the wife"

Without looking it up can name that tune?

I do not know without looking it up.

Fritz, this thread rings back good memories of going to teas at our church when I was a girl. I used to love the mini sandwiches (similar to those in bottom tray below) with colored bread and various colored cream cheese fillings. I also loved the pretty little petit fours. It also reminds me of when, years ago, my sister, my nieces and I went to a tea house the next town over. We dressed for the occasion and it was an enjoyable experience with plenty of treats to choose from.
