We will be in the upper 90s to over 100 the next day or so then bouncing back and forth between 80s and 90s.

90 degrees with a feels like of 99 at a quarter to 3 in the afternnon. That's probably going to be the high for todsay. Hot, but still better than it was during the heat wave of two weeks ago.

Typical August day - temp right now is 83F, but it's fairly humid which makes it feel like 87F. Tomorrow will be the last "comfortable" day for a while. Temps will start to increase Saturday and highs will be in the upper 80s to mid 90sF for at least a week. Not much chance of rain, either.

The last few days have been cooler during the day (mid to low 80s) and very pleasant at night (65 range). It's going to heat up again though starting tomorrow with temps in the 90s during the week (real feels 95 - 103).

As an aside..

Google says... Both "grey" and "gray" are correct spellings of the color between black and white. "Gray" is more common in American English, while "grey" is more common in British English. (Otherwise known as ENGLISH!)

I don't like it when they say ''British English''...It's just English as you say...... that's the language it's OURS.... it should only be preceded with a country when it's not British...

American English, Canadian English, Australian, New Zealand English... Jamaican , Bahamian, Maltese and so on...

What a change from last August 9th when we had significant rainfall from the remnants of Hurricane Debby and my cellar flooded. I got off relatively easy. Other homes were swept away by local floods! My rain gauge registered 4.2 inches (11 cm) in just one hour. The fire department was at a neighbor's house for an hour and a half doing a basement pump-out.
