How are you today?

Got up at 4:30 AM, showered, shaved, dressed; out before sunrise when it was 76 degrees, trimmed hedges, swept leaves off patio, put away clean laundry, had breakfast, did emails and daily journal, figured out what will be for lunch, sent a couple of texts, and that's about it.

But, it's going to be a hot day, so planning to stay in, do little, and feel guilt-free about it.

Wishing everyone a great day.

I saw my pain doctor yesterday. We were thinking about me trying low dose naltrexone because the pain is getting worse still. THEN we decided to load me up with the good b vitamins so I sleep through the night. Control the pain with Aleve and Tylenol and thc gummies. I have to take psyllium husk to help with my untreatable colitis. So I feel like i am teetering on a tight rope, constantly managing the pain and discomfort. This makes my moods change.

I feel good about 6 to 10 hours a day. I do chores, take walks, play with our animal friends, and mess around on the internet. I am spending more of my time trying to understand current events. I am very concerned about the shape my generation is leaving our planet and life itself. I am disappointed rather than proud at the mess we are leaving for our children and their children.

One more "thing" is testosterone! :) my pain doctor says YES!!!!! So on monday i see a testosterone specialist. I will get the appropriate blood test to let him know the details on how to treat me. I have heard some very good things about this therapy.

I have a peripheral neuropathy zoom support group at noon. I will talk with them about the testosterone therapy. Interesting. :)

Great day again today! Up at 6:30 for our daily 2.5 mile walk before the temp gets too high. We are fortunate to both be in good health.

Just a shout out to Georgiagranny, you bring a smile to my face, my mom used to say she was "bright eyed and bushy tailed" and "fine as frog hair"'. I don't think I have heard either of those sayings since she left us 16 years ago. Thank you for bringing back memories of her. She was a wonderful mom and was always very upbeat about life, and I bet you are too.
