Oh, God! Why are you reading this?

It has been a frustrating week. Let's see. My medical supply co. sent me the wrong stuff., and it's been a hassle and a half sending it back. The laundromat broke down locking my stuff in the washers. I almost got ripped off by a crummy internet company for $103- they sent me a bottle of "Women's One-A-day" vitamins. I got this "Apple Virus alert" on my phone, which scared me until I realized it was a scam. I couldn't fall asleep till 3:30 AM, one night. I must have really tee-ed off the good luck gods So it's T.G.I.F.

Dropped something on my foot on Sunday. Had to walk long distances at an appointment on Monday. It kept hurting more. Went to Urgent Care on Wednesday. They said badly bruised but no bones broken. Saw Podiatrist today. New xrays show broken bones. Went to fill prescription for steroids at 7: 45. Pharmacy already closed. They close at 8. Tomorrow is a new day.

Medical malpractice! Gee hope it heals fast.
I worked with a lady who suffered a foot fracture when she opened her freezer door and a frozen chicken slid out and landed on her foot!

The bad week is behind me. I'm looking forward to happier times. I'm planning my death. I've got that appointment for a new will, so I want to ask the right questions. I want to be cremated, because if I'm buried, sooner or later they are going to build a Dollar store over me. I'm not sure if prepaying for a is the way to go? I'm not sure what to do with my ashes. My brother isn't great at some things. I'd probably would get left on his back porch for the nest 20 years. Then I'd be part of the driveway, after it snowed.

Do you care? My DDs thought I was rather heartless when I said I didn’t care what they did with mine. At the most, scatter them. No saving them. Better to just have memories.
I agree. As each generation gets further and further away through time, the less and less the emotional bonds. I doubt you're going to want your great, great, great aunt Sophie's cousin Tillie's ashes on your mantle.

I was just about to write that I was wiped out and had nothing to say, when I heard the cop's siren. It kept getting louder. Then a guy on a motorcycle rode over my front lawn and was riding around in my back yard. Then the cops came speeding by looking for him, but he was hiding in my backyard. I called the cops and told them if they were looking for a guy on a motorcycle he was in my backyard. Then I didn't hear the motorcycle anymore. The cops showed up, but they didn't say why they were after the guy. The guy just bulldozed his way through bushes to get into my neighbor's yard, and escape.

Nothing wrong with being scattered in the driveway if you are able to prevent a slip and fall.

I prepaid my final expenses and the money was placed in a revocable trust, if I move around the world the money can be returned. If I have to go on Medicaid the trust can be made irrevocable.

My biggest issue with a new will is naming an executor.

I’m beginning to think a bad choice is better than no choice.

A final plan is for the living, we’ll never know if our efforts were worthwhile or not.

The executor-that's my problem. I'm giving everything to my kid brother, but doing legal, financial stuff is not what he's good at. I do have ther relatives, but I haven't seen them in 20-30 years.

I’ve thought about other relatives but I hate to stick them with the work when someone else gets the loot.

I’ll probably put all of the eggs in one basket and let my heir figure it out.

It may not be the same in the US. The executor can charge/be paid a substantial amount for all the work involved.
It’s similar in Nee York State, a sliding scale/percentage.

You can also end up with multiple executors and the possibility of paying up to two full fees if you are not careful about the wording.

The amount can be substantially reduced by using beneficiaries or pay on death designations on many accounts.

I have a shelf in the kitchen with about 50 coffee mugs from all the attractions I visited. They were super dusty, I cleaned them. I haven't had cats in 10 years, but they left their fur all over the place. There was tons of it in the mugs. And I've found a bunch of secret clawing areas, too. I bought a scratching post, that was never touched when I threw it out, after the cats were gone. Holes in the couch, I got.
I guess cats are never gone, once you have them.

I dropped a couple of nickels on a way cool scratching post & even paid a handyman to attach it to just the perfect spot on the wall. It’s a thing of beauty. Well, sort of.
Not only does my fleabag not use it to scratch, he will not even look at it.
It would be insulting if it wasn’t so darn funny😂

TA DA I mowed the lawn, today. That may not seem like an earth shaking feat. But it is to me. My porch light needs to be replaced. Since I can't stand for very long, I decided to use a handy man app.
Got the first quote: $270 $270 to replace a porch light.

I just saw this while messing around- The most popular boy's name in the UK , 2025, is....................Mohammad

A couple of days ago, I cleaned lots of my souvenir mugs I have lining the kitchen walls. There's got to be 50 of them. As I was washing the mug, I was reminiscing about my visit to the attractions. There are a few I don't remember going to- I got the mug , so I did go.???? There's a huge mansion in Toronto, Casa Loma, I've got the mug. Don't remember a damn thing about it. I just took their online tour, and I'll swear I was never there- but I got the mug😕

Those mugs you don't remember getting... could someone have given them to you as a souvenir from their own trip?
