Let's say you're over 80 years old, would you get married?


Afew months from now, I will be 80, and it's "Oh Gawd!!! NO.

Perhaps then there exists an affordable female android who tells me every day how attractive I am, does all household chores and changes my diapers if I should need them at that age or later

Sci Fi, as it is becoming a highly reliable indicator of actual science, is now predicting companion androids, but I think I'll be dead before they are affordable. Also, they will be highly unpredictable at first. The last thing you want is a companion android that goes "off program" and develops a mind of its own.

For the same amount of money, just find some jail bait (anyone younger than 70) who will pretend to love you if you will them your entire estate. Now there's a win-win for everyone!

Heck no! I wouldn’t marry again even if I were much younger than the poster’s suggestion of 80. Marriage is not a safety net for me.
