Nice folding wheel chair

The first thing I notice is the foot rest. Instead of two rests that always seem uncomfortable, it has one larger one. The only time I’ve used one is while being wheeled into surgery. This one seems more ergonomic.

When buying a wheel chair, the most important thing to consider is the side. It should accomodate your butt but not too much empty space, and also the foot rest should well position for your foot.

This is similar to one i purchased for a cheaper price. But it folds differently. I'll only need it until i am able to walk. Then I'll have two chairs to sell. One powered and one manual.

Watch out for the only "33 lbs". I, too, thought about getting a electric wheelchair. I have a bad back, so I can't lift much. These chair ads will talk about how light they are, but that's without the battery. Throw in anywhere from 30-40 lbs. for a battery, and you have a sizable back ache.

Oh well. I didnt realize its battery weighed that much. So probably not good for out and about unless you have a helper to lift it.
I could lift it but it probably wouldnt have worked for us since the husband was usually over the weight limit for most of those kinds of things.

I did push him thru the house sometimes in an office chair. That thing looked about the same size so might be good for inside.
Somebody said they could be bought cheaper so would need to shop around. As always.
