This is wonderful, @Kaila. Even when struggling with challenges you remain grateful and aware of the good things. That is a wonderful attitude. You are a warrior, girl. ❤️

I tried but I really never did recuperate, this week. 😐
And the eye Dr appointment on Friday, had mixed results. I felt more disappointed and discouraged after that.

Now I've realized that I need to accept the level of function and the symptoms that I am presently at. Accept it for now, try to relax more, and keep going in the ways I am capable of.

I'm exhausted and in somewhat setback mode. 🫤🙄

It was great to look out of our window this morning at the various types of clouds, with blue sky in between.

The goldfinches are gradually switching over to their winter garb. They don't wear those bright yellow coats all year long.
The cardinals are growing from youth to adults.
It's amazing to see the changes and transitions.
The trees and shrubs are starting to shift toward autumn.

I tended our cats needs today. It's challenging but I managed to clean her ears, and paws and claws and toes. She's 18 years old!🤩
I'll comb and brush her another day. It can wait. So can many other tasks. 😄

Tomorrow I will get back to P.T.
I'm very thankful for that.

Good morning, from a wet and windy corner of England. Definitely won't be attempting to take Rocco to the park this morning, maybe a walk around the block or it might even be a case of him just going in the back yard as and when required. :cool: Also waiting for a grocery delivery which is due within the next hour.

Received an email to say my new rug will be arriving tomorrow so am looking forward to that. Then this room is done, finished.

As per usual, last night at my son's, me and the granddaughters lost the quiz against mum and dad. And, of course we finished off with a couple of games of Old Maid.... no need to guess who lost both games, even though we were using the new, unmarked cards. 😂

Lovely that you can see goldfinches and cardinals @Kaila. I love birds but have to go to the park to see more of a variety. If I look out of my window all I see are herring gulls and pigeons. :LOL: Hope you are feeling good today. 🥕🥕🥕

We are getting an average of about 60 tomatoes a day. Yesterday we canned 20 one litre bottles of tomato sauce. Our pantry is quickly getting stocked.

This day is getting started early for me as I have a medical tele-appointment in 30 minutes. It's just a check-in so won't take long, but I need to get moving, put my make-up on and get Zoom opened and ready on the desktop.

I haven't been here in quite a while.....too many things offline to keep me busy during the summer. I'm hoping to start coming by more often, now that fall is just around the corner.

I've brought biscuits and a cuppa for everyone! Please, indulge in these treats all you'd like. Cyber goodies are fat free, calorie free, low in cholesterol and....they are actually good for you!! Enjoy!

Hello, everyone,
I got to my p.t. earlier today. She had to scale back on the physical activities we'd begun adding...🫤
But I'm glad I managed to be there.

On the way home, I managed to drop off for return, a pair of boots I'd ordered online, that were too snug. It's the first time I've ever done any sort of return this way, called a happy return. They send them back.

I actually requested Exchange for a larger size, and will be allowed to return them for refund if they don't fit. I could have requested refund today, but I prefer to get a pair to wear, and am hoping for that, instead of the money.

The return place is directly across the street from where i go for p.t. , which was challenging for me nonetheless. Needed to get a cart for the shoebox, and to add to my outing, but was successful.

My next outing is the next in my series of dental work appointments, 2 days away, on Wednesday, this week. Always exhausting and never pleasant,these trips to the dentist;
However ,I need quite a bit of it, and,
I'm glad to make progress on that.

I enjoy re-reading many times each,
Every post of everyone's , on this thread.

PT is always challenging. If it isn't, then it's not helping you. I have confidence that you will concur those challenges, one at a time!

I'm getting an early start today because Lucius has an appointment with the groomer this morning at 9:30. 🐶 Not great four our schedule, but she's busy and this was the slot she had open.

I love coming here in the mornings and reading about what's going on with everyone. :)

@Kaila, if it helps, when I have to go to the dentist, I try to focus on how I'll feel when it's over. That sense of accomplishment in having done something hard. You will totally deserve something nice when you've finished up on Wednesday. ❤️

@Pam, happy for you in your new rug! :)
