Visits of loved ones on Halloween

My husband died on October 31st. I’ve heard it said that the veil between the living and dead is thinner on that date. I’m excited to maybe have him visit me and then again worried. Then again the question is, am I a little crazy? Yep, I’m definitely crazy but am I about this?
Has anyone had an experience on Halloween?

Actually, it is thinnest at Samhain, which is celebrated on November 1st.
But I don't put stock into that...

People consider me a bit odd, I believe in Bigfoot, UFOs and other strange things, but that's a new one for me.

Spirits are not confined to contacting living beings on Halloween. But time is different in the afterlife. If they have unfinished business or left something unsaid to a loved one they may visit soon after death. Otherwise they may get caught up in exploring, understanding where they are and it may be a while. Also if they recognise a way they failed or did a loved one wrong it may be long time and the signs may be subtle enough to be missed.
