Today, I've invited another Tudor Plaza friend, Janice for lunch today at 12:30, she's been here before. She lives on the 3rd floor I was her neighbor. When I left I bestowed her the title of longest resident on the floor, she's lived there 10 yrs. I look forward to seeing her
The rest of my day take advantage of another beautiful warm sunny day, take a mid morning walk, then in afternoon. After dinner tackle today;s NYT
Enjoy your day

I went swimming at the lake again, yesterday evening. It was great!

I slept like a rock last night, only having a few loo stops during the night. Apparently, swimming wears me out....too much fresh air! 😅

Right now, it's pleasant outside, but the "going to work traffic" has chased me indoors. That's the downside of living on a dirt road.

I'll be offline for most of today. My Mom needs a bunch of stuff done in the morning, and I'll be taking her to an appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon this afternoon.

Good morning, everyone. Another wave coming off of Africa. The current one is stronger but still might turn away from the US.

Waiting for my delivery from the grocery store. The shopper seems to be better than the last one. I hope she gets everything.

Have a good day, everyone. :)

Afternoon Peeps of SF.... 🌺

A glorious sunny day here but the second day of very high winds. I hate the winds more than any other weather...

Tomorrow I have a full medical at a a doctor and place 2 towns away named by the car Insurance company to assess my injuries. Kind of ironic they're doing it 2 months after the crash when most of it has healed...

Today I'm going to make a big bag of donations to drop off at the charity shop when I'm over there tomorrow...

have a good Tuesday folks

A good morning to do something I wanted to do for a while. It was cool enough to work and slightly overcast, so the sun wasn't blinding (I am very sensitive to light). I removed the edging/landscaping bricks that I was always tripping over the the front yard garden. I couldn't just pull them up by hand - they were half buried in the soil. I had to pry the up with a garden spade first. There were 18. Took about 45 minutes.

Now I still have a problem - the holes they left are still a tripping hazard. I need some dirt to fill in. I could buy some top soil, but I'm not paying for DIRT! I wonder where I can get some soil dirt cheap?

I've been struggling lately and so haven't been around much. It's a sunny day here today, but yet more rain is around the corner, so I really need to get outdoors to get some fresh air and exercise.

I have a routine oil change later today. My car is nearly 20 years old, and my heart's always in my throat thinking they are going to find something. I blew through nearly $2,000 last winter on necessary repairs. Overall, the car has held up well, though. I'm always careful to stay on top of maintenance because there is no room in my budget for any sort of additional monthly payment. 💸💸

Speaking of that, I must get back to work. 🖥️

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Tuesday morning!

Yesterday I got spinal decompression and an adjustment. Then I went to Walmart to pick up both pair of my new glasses. They don’t do my eye exam, but they fill the prescriptions. Boy is it nice to be able to see again. I had lost my other pair of bifocal glasses off the four wheeler in the pasture, so I have been bumbling along on two prescriptions back. These new glasses are GREAT!

This morning, the critter chiropractor was here at 8:30 to work on both horses. Because it’s been so beastly hot and humid, I postponed her for three months, which was this morning. Both horses needed something. Duncan because he is elderly and has arthritis. Ali because he’s a teenager and doesn’t listen when Duncan tells him no,lol lol

I have had zero luck finding a Farrier, that is worth their salt. It turns out that Ali‘s owner can trim better than most of the farriers around here so she trimmed Duncan’s hooves this morning. Duncan likes her better anyway, because she lets him hold his legs in a way that makes him comfortable where the other Farriers think he oughta just put it where they want it to make them comfortable.

As with everyone else that spends a lot of time outdoors, I am hoping to get caught up on some outdoor things that got let go over the heat of the summer. Just not today I am going horizontal today.

Almost forgot, one of the things I bought at Walmart was my annual bag of Brachs candy corn🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️

I hope everyone has a great day, however, you spend it🤠🤠

I have the same feelings about my car. It's a 2002 Honda Civic. It seems every year there's a major repair needed. I once told the mechanic who asked me why I just don't buy a new car, "If I get enough parts replaced, I'll have a new car."

Another drive to check out a bulk grocery store.
Hehe, let hubby drive & pick out he roads to take, memory check.

It was the wrong road!
But the hills, farm houses, the forest was all new to us to see.
Very little traffic,, some colorful leaves.

Finally we found the store was large with most of produces were still in the shipping cartons.
You needed to know the prices of your favorite good to get a " good buy".
I spend $37.25 on 26 items.
Bought a variety of canned beans.

Name of the store was Sharp Shopper.

Was lot of older folks shopping.
Don't think we will be going back,, too far of a drive.

Now to catch up Hemming jeans.
We stopped at OLLiIES on way back & I found anther pair of jeans in size 8.
They will need shorted too.

Hope everyone's day is going well.

an update from my morning post
My neighbor, Janice didn't show up at 12:30 for our lunch get together, I was not happy She is known by many of us a bit scattered brained at times. After lunch I called and left a message telling her my displeasure. She immediately called me back, telling me' My silver sneakers class was cancelled, I said' so what',goodbye, hung up
