How are you today?

Feeling good. I took a walk on the beach this morning and rescued 3 large Horseshoe Crabs and got them back in the surf. It seems to be an oops in nature's design. They are fine in the water because the shell protects them, but if they get flipped over on the beach, they can't upright themselves, so they're toast (Or dinner).
I got a few dirty looks from Seagulls, but they didn't look like they had missed too many meals, so I'm sure they won't go hungry.

That was good of you. :giggle:

Thank goodness, I've aged out of jury duty. Once you reach 75, you can request to be taken off the rolls permanently. I have done so..

At my age, I'd be sitting there in the jury box and then...."I'm sorry, Your Honor, I need to go to the little girl's room! Yes, I know that's the third time in an hour, but........" "I'm sorry, Your Honor, but can I get up and walk around a little? I have a terrible cramp in my right calf." "I'm sorry, Your Honor, but can I go back into the Jury Room and get the Tums out of my purse? I have some bad acid reflux from that lunch we were served. It won't take more than a minute!"

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I'm 62 and I wanted to tell them, I'm too old for this stuff!!! The worst part was driving there in morning traffic and the downtown location with no parking!

Good morning everyone đź‘‹

Yesterday the weather was lovely, very warm but not humid. In the morning, I did some errands before meeting up with family, we had a nice lunch, spent the afternoon chatting and then I walked home in the sunshine - a perfect day :)

It's 8 am, much cooler today and grey, I think we are going to have some rain. While the weather was dreary and I wasn't feeling great, I started sorting out the wardrobes, packing away summery things and getting out the warmer stuff. So far, two big bags of stuff to go. I am planning to chop up the nice fabrics and make a patchwork throw - it will be my winter project.

It's 8 am, coffee has been drank and I guess time to start the day. A little later we will have a walk - great excuse to wear my cosy new jacket - but, in the meantime, I think I will sort through a few more shelves and see what else I can add to the quilt pile ;)

Have a good Saturday x

Hi, kids. I may or may not be getting better...have felt okay in the morning but not so great as the day goes on. Part of not getting much better turned out to be the wrong kind of meds. DD brought me "cold and flu" instead of "cough and congestion." Oops. How did I not notice? It's in BIG letters on the front of the box. Duh.

Haven't done much in the past few days because I just didn't have the strength, not even watering the garden...DD does it for me. However...I've been sleeping a lot🛌, and being under the weather hasn't curbed my appetite for chocolate🍫;)

As soon as I'm awake enough, I'll read back to see what I've missed. Hope y'all are well.
