Do You Own A Swiss Army Knife?

Yes and I have a small utility knife from The Ipswich Clam Company.

I have quite a few pocket knives, but never did get a Swiss Army Knife.
I look at them occasionally but I have trouble finding one with the utensils I want in one knife.

I have a fairly simple one that I keep in a kitchen drawer. It's the only can opener, bottle opener, and corkscrew that I have. These days most cans are pull tops, bottles are twist off and I rarely drink wine so it doesn't get a lot of use but it's there if I need it.

I wonder who made Thomas Jefferson's multi function knife shown below. Since the Swiss Army knife was invented in 1891 and since Thomas Jefferson died in 1826 I have to assume The Swiss Army multi function type knife was copied from someone else's idea. I guess I could research it but too lazy.

Jefferson's Pocketknife
"Thomas Jefferson’s multitool
Apparently, Thomas Jefferson owned a multitool, purchased between 1767 and 1819."
"The most likely origin for the multitool was Sheffield cutlery as it is very similar to an illustration in one of the manufacturers pattern books from 1816. All of which places such a gizmo in reach of the characters of Dragon Keeper’s Cotillion!"
