2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

finally, we have much needed rain here in WNY,1st since mid August
It rained last night,today's forecast showers on/off temps in the 70's

Hopefully headed my way.

Finally getting some much needed rain. How long it will last or put a dent in the drought is up in the air.

Two good thunderstorms last night and some much needed rain. More rain expected today and for the rest of the week. We sure needed it!

The rain (more of a drizzle) didn't last very long, but the forecast through Thursday looks like on and off precip.

A moist morning. Warmer than it's been for a few days, so it feels very muggy. I went to the grocery this morning and it was like more than a mist, but less than a drizzle.

It's been a slow on and off rain here and I am glad as the ground
is soaking it in without the pushing all the runoff into the drive and walkways.
Not making the soil mushy. I do hate big mud puddles where I have to wash
the dog feet as they come back in quickly!

A rainy but warm day. Can't complain - we needed it, although my car windows fog up. Apparently the defroster isn't working (another glitch in my 23 year old car).

I got off lucky today. When delivering meals, in some places it was like driving through a car wash. Around 2 pm, it really started coming down - like it was making up for 3 almost rain-less months. It reminded me of the hurricane remnants that flooded my basement last year. No water there this time, fortunately. It will be interesting to see the total in my rain gauge when the rain stops.
I had a power surge. My computer didn't shut down, but I had to re-boot my cable TV box. I heard the fire alarm about an hour ago. Likely someone needing a pump-out.
