Their song I Want You, was #2 on my road trip playlist, hit that straightway for 350 mile stretch St Lou - Chicago
90 mph in my Firebird.... ohhh that song set the mood!
 
Most of my mother's family came from either Cork, Wexford, or Galway. Her father was the exception there. My dad's family was from County Monaghan. It is in Ulster, but chooses to be a part of the Irish Republic.

They've all been in the U.S. since the 1600s and 1700s, it really doesn't matter.

My 1st family members came over about 1820 a few more just after that all here by 1850. It doesn't but I rarely run into anyone saying they
had any relatives in the Northern parts. So this was rare and surprised me. My great Uncles still had some accent to them, I loved listening to them.
