Photo Editors, help please?

I can't do it. The above was the best I could manage from playing with the standard photo editor that comes with WIndows 11, and it's disappointing at best. Sorry.
Try @Naturally - he's a whiz at it. Click -> Here for an example of one photo he did, which is as good as it gets.
After you see his work, then go back to the first post in that thread and you will be amazed.
I have PIXLR + but I can't seem to get the right look, not too overdone but still look aged. Thank you for the attempt. I will see if Naturally replies for a bit. Too bad exposure to elements ruin these old pics, they've been passed down over and over.

Was unable to keep features 100% accurate. Nothing beats original images ...

Are you sure these are from the 1950s? To me they appear 1930s vintage.
You are correct it was a typo the one with the baby I know is 1933, as my mom was born in 1932. Typo's do happen at times
