Second-Hand Songs is a collaborative website that maintains a global database of mainly cover versions of original works.
It includes links to freely accessible recordings of the covers, and external identifiers for those works and performances in other databases.
As of 2021, it included roughly a million covers of 100,000 original works.

Dang, Bret, ya made my ears bleed! 🤯 For years now when I compared cover songs, I've always started with Unchained Melody. So I just hit your link and... wow, over 500 covers of it. Cool! UNTIL I chose to hear one of my favorites, Conway Twitty sing it. Worst version I've heard. And *then* glutton for punishment that I am, I tried to listen to Sonny & Cher get through it. Tried and failed. Oy!

I find it one of the really great web sites.
1 million covers, and that was 4 years ago.

Here are two very different forums that I’ve enjoyed and found helpful in very different ways.

I don’t use either of them very often anymore, but I still consult them.
