Nostalgia is not as good as it used to be.
Thanks for sharing. When there is nothing but overwhelming bad news about all that may lie ahead, some can reach a state of despair.Check out this report on the projected increase in home heating prices. One area in particular will be hit with a 267% increase!

Haha, sounds like you dodged a bullet thereI’ve never actually been to Virginia before. What’s it like there?
Yeah, that really is sadThat's just so sad!
That actually sounds amazing. The Blue Ridge Mountains alone make it worth the visit. It’s wild how quickly a place can change though, especially after COVID. Sounds like you left at just the right time before it lost its charm. Would you ever move back if things improved, or are you done with Virginia for good?Virginia is a beautiful state. If you love American History it is caulked full of battlefields and such.
We were there for 6 years then the mass of people moving from Washington DC and New York
caused a big jump in housing costs and we had to leave then. Before covid it was an extremely
friendly place, it changed after that whole issue. The Blue Ridge Mountains was my favorite trip
to make on weekends when we could.
I am now where my heart always has been, I will remain here if I have any control over it. Missouri is very much in scenery like Va. except theThat actually sounds amazing. That sounds wonderful. Missouri seems like it has a calm, grounded beauty that really fits you. I’m up in North Dakota, and what I love most here is the quiet strength of the landscape, wide open skies, rugged land, and people who still value hard work. It kind of speaks my language.I am now where my heart always has been, I will remain here if I have any control over it. Missouri is very much in scenery like Va. except the
rolling hills are steeper and don't become boot hills of a mountain range. No seashore, but I prefer woods and it's gentle changes compared
to the constant scene of a beach. Guess I am a Wood Imp at heart. Originally from L.A. and never moved back once I left.
This is why I adore you... no bush-beatin' going on 'round here!Whoa, this is a dating site? Who knew
It may be best to bring someone with you who loves adventure and just go as your whim takes you. If I took you around my hubby would be giving you the evil eye. That would not make it a nice trip for you or myself I think. Thank you though for the offer. That sounds wonderful. Missouri seems like it has a calm, grounded beauty that really fits you. Someday I’d love to visit Missouri. Maybe you could show me around a bit. A museum or one of those beautiful restaurants you like?

Let’s get this straight. Seniors Forum isn’t a dating site. It’s a discussion space for people to share thoughts and experiences. Don’t twist a normal conversation into something it’s not.Whoa, this is a dating site? Who knew
