Inside-the-Japanese-Tea-Ceremony-Rituals-Meaning.jpeg

Sen no Rikyu, a prominent figure in the late 1500s, is considered the father of the Japanese tea ceremony.

He trained many warlords in the art of tea and introduced the four main principles of the tea ceremony: WA (harmony), KEI (respect), SEI (purity), and JAKU (tranquility).

These principles continue to guide the practice of the Japanese tea ceremony today, emphasizing the spiritual and cultural significance of the ritual.

The title of this thread makes me think of this lyric by a well known band...

"People running round, it's five o'clock
Everywhere in town, it's getting dark
Everyone you see is full of life
It's time for tea and meet the wife"

Without looking it up can name that tune?
It's from Sergeant Pepper by the Beatles, I think the title of the track is Good Morning.
