I have a toad lily but the foliage is no where near as nice as this and the way the flowers are arrayed is very nice too.
Blue Puya (Puya berteronian)
Blue flowers are rare in their own right. Add in the blue puya flower’s large size and trumpet-like shape, and you’ve got yourself a stunning specimen. The blue puya is a type of terrestrial bromeliad that’s related to the common pineapple. However, these plants are much more rare than the common fruit. If you want to see a blue puya, your best bet is to head to their native habitat in Chile.

I've always found these flowers fascinating. This one is smaller but king of elegant. I've grown it but it never looked this good for me. Taken in a friend's garden. Puya mirabilis.
Taken at a botanical garden most likely of one like Dolly's.
Not my photo but taken at the Berkeley bot garden of two Puya raimondii in bloom which are also called the Queen of the Andes. These are the largest of the puyas which are the largest of bromeliads. Can't find my picture of it now but I did go to see these when they bloomed.

My upright garden bed my hubs made for me out of building waste ,from neighbour's ~ Sons new home build
He painted the bottoms of the legs with a black rubber paint to stop the wood rotting From standing in wet soil, as well as using linseed oil on the frame work to protect it from water
The wood is what’s used for brick veneer homes ….that are gyprock inside and brick outside ….so the woods not designed to be exposed to weather ( it’s pine )
It’s 1.5 mtrs long

My Azalea is looking very sad
My creamy colour clivia has opened up nicely , it’s the first time it’s flowered for me after a friend gave it to me.
The CREAM ones tend to be quite expencive in garden shops ( around the $60.00 for a single plant ) No way would I pay that , I waited till a friend “ thinned “ hers out so she could give me a small plant

This morning on my way out to exercise the dog I noticed my Cereus Monstrose has an open flower.

My Spider Lilies, from a few years ago.
Took another photo of my orange clivia ….they are in full bloom now …look so pretty with the creamy / yellow one
There are 2 different orange clivias one has a narrow foliage and a more open / flattish flower and the one I have has a shorter wider foliage with a bell like flower
