Daylight Savings Time Ends this Sunday - November 2nd

I referred to the extra hour of daylight in the evening. An hour of daylight is lost in the AM so it can be gained in the PM. That is the basis of daylight savings. I never indicated that I thought there was 25 hours in a day on savings time. I don't see how anything is saved. Yes, I am well aware that no time is gained. 24 hours is 24 hours.

I was simply saying that having the clock set forward in summer and moving it backward in the winter was backwards for working people like UPS and Fed Ex. They didn't change our start time, so it put us in an extra hour of darkness in the evening during the Christmas rush. It slowed down production 25% to 50%.

I was just messing with you, but you took it seriously. :ROFLMAO:

No problem! I had to explain what I meant to my husband last evening after he had a few drinks. He insisted I was saying that daylight time had 25 hours when I talked about my UPS days and how losing that hour of daylight in the evening, put me 2 hours behind.

Now that you mention it, technically it will be Sunday, November 2nd for a period of 25 hours.

I woke up at exactly 2 AM according to my iPhone. Yippee, I got through this long night. Woke up a bit later and it was now 1:58 AM. Then I had to stress how late I could stay asleep to have a decent rest. If I’d glanced at my phone for a couple of seconds more I would have seen the time go back. Obviously I have no life if this would be the excitement of my day, even my month.
