The man of the house brought it round, accompanied by his youngest a 3 year old... who insisted she cooked it..lol

I manage to eat a little bit, the rest is in the fridge for tomorrow...

oh they bring me food all the time.. whenever they're having a party or a BBQ..or if it's someone's birthday... :love:

They're very nice, they're fairly new here only been here about 4 years..Romanians.. tenants of the owner of the house next door

So far this morning, I've cleaned out some photos from my tablet, drank the morning brew, and watched Goob sleep in the bookcase.

We got our first "hard freeze" last night. It went down to 24°F/-4.4°C. That's the end of The Fairy Garden for this year.

I'm hoping that productivity will start happening after breakfast. Right now.....I'm just sitting around, happy that I have no reason to go outside in the cold.
 
Was 28 degrees this morning! bbrbr. !!!!!!!!!!

Hubby finding odds & ends of little things that need batters.

I hope to bake some oat meal cookies.
Probably freeze some as hubby & dog aren't fans of them.

Should plan what I hope to cook for Thanksgiving & weekend that sons are here.

For those in the colder areas ,, Stay Warm.

@Sliverfox If you are cold, then come and visit me. But hurry. Rain is in the forecast, and then it usually cools down.
At noon, it's already over 90F degrees. By 2:30 pm, it will be a few degrees warmer.

Have you ever seen a "holy" Blue Jay (with a halo?)..............Having had Rex for 2 months (now 14 m/o) his behavior is improving.

''Chuffed'' is a british slang word meaning Very pleased.... where the saying chuffed to little mint balls came from I don't know. Little mints balls are candy... but I do know it's a northern British Saying.. meaning very pleased ... Chuffed to little mint balls

My body parts are hesling fine don't you worry about that...lol... My hand and arm are still a problem... but I have to keep using them as much as possible according to my physiotherapist... and my ribs still hurt but they only bother when I lie down in bed.. they hurt quite a bit then..but during the day I don't feel the pain much

I'm just not a person who can sit around tbh..I was doing stuff very soon after the accident, and the medical staff and the nurses who came to the house evry week were astonished at how fast I was healing given the extent of the injuries, and my age...

It's been 5 months TODAY since the accident

The chuffed part I already knew! I'm glad your explanation is meant for general audiences. I was a bit worried that my innocence would be informed, once again. That is always shocking or surprising.

Ribs. I always worry about your ribs. I'm trying to not do that since you reminded me that virtual hugs won't hurt them! :)
