Country song "Walk My Walk" by singer Breaking Rust is number one on the country digital song sales chart. However, the singer and the song are all AI-generated. It’s been streamed 2.1 million times on Spotify, and 11.5 million times on YouTube.

What are your thoughts about this song?

there are loads of AI generated songs now on Youtbe especially within the country music Genre..I've posted quite a few in the music thread this year!

I’m ok with all of it until people and governments start using it to spoof various speeches, news conferences, etc… or until Ai counterfeits are marketed as original works by known artists.

I’m not sure how you would go about putting safeguards in place that would prevent such misuse.

It’s definitely going to be interesting.

I personally love the song but your post doesn’t offer the song. I downloaded it off the internet. Thanks for bringing up the discussion about AI music.
Here’s the full song walk my walk.

Thanks for sharing the song with us. I can see how it would appeal to some - it's just not the kind of country music I prefer. Still, it's a very convincing sound.

I remember back in the '70s, young people were going around singing songs like the Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag. Todays youth are probably singing these AI generated songs.

Meh, with a little more work on the lyrics, it could be a decent song. Add a little instrumental jam in the middle and they'd have something. :)
