A teen sitcom period piece set in Northern Ireland in the 1990s. I wouldn't normally be interested in a "teen" show, but one of the main characters is played by Saoirse-Monica Jackson, who was so notably funny in The Decameron.

Brilliantly done, drop-dead hilarious.

I watched this a few months ago and really enjoyed it. The episode with Liam Neeson was particularly hilarious.

Yes, drop-dead hilarious! I loved all the characters. Overdone, of course, but funny as hell.

I too normally avoid teen shows but watched Derry Girls and enjoyed it.

That was a funny episode. Despite being contemporaries with Liam Neeson(he's 9 days my senior) I've managed to miss literally all of his work, over the years.

That's an impressive feat as Liam Neeson has worked across so many movie genres. It was funny wasn't it? I love the, --uncle, I think he was.

His name and face are familiar, but I looked at his movie and TV credits and can't say that I've watched any of them. Perhaps my recollection is failing...
