I felt very poorly yesterday, and continued to take extra care today, and didn't want to go out, for anything.
And I didn't.
I'm using all the strength i have, to attempt to recuperate, this mid week.

I'm feeling a bit better thankfully. Whew.

Saw lots of fun wild birds, at the feeder outside our window, today.
I thought of each one of you and your interesting posts, today.

That's interesting About the wild bird feeding rules you've had. It does make sense, of course.

We didn't get much avian flu in our region. We were concerned, but the cases were few and very rare.
There was much more attention given to guidelines for people with backyard chickens, than to bird feeders.

That's great that you can see eagles in trees, from your kitchen window!🤩

My husband is actually looking at second hand ones. The trouble is you don’t know if you are getting somebody else’s problems or not..I’d prefer to get a brand new one. Luckily we have an atv with a blade. Unfortunately it can’t be used to go around the house cause the tires ruin the grass.

@Pam … Your dog sounds as spoiled as mine. As soon as I sit down I’m instantly a seat for them to sit on. They also expect my hands to be free for petting. Luckily now they are sleeping in their doggie beds which are on the floor.

Anyway I must get ready for our walk.

Good morning, @Kaila and co, Bit of a blustery morning here and forecast is for heavy rain and high winds this afternoon so I've been out with Rocco and that will do for today. Another reason for getting him out early is that the nearby shipyard is testing the nuclear safety alarm soon which will be heard all over town. I'd rather be indoors when that goes off, not sure how Rocco will react although fireworks don't bother him so more than likely he'd be fine.

When I had my hip replacement a couple of years ago, I bought a support cushion for my back to help me sit upright on the chair/settee. I decided to order another one, which arrived the day before yesterday, and it's great to have one to sit on and one at my back, gives me a bit of height and support. However, someone else is very fond of it too. lol Perhaps I should order another one. ;)

After a rough and daunting few days and nights, I actually made it to p.t., today. I'm very thankful that it is extremely close by. As always , it was both challenging.... and helpful.

It is very cold out, today!
I nearly turned into an icicle.🙄🤭😬😵‍💫😁

I was wearing a few layers, plus a neck scarf, and a warm hat..... and gloves...

But very soon, I will have to ratchet it up, still further!☺️😁😄

Grands were here Tues. They ordered Thai food. DGS had a dish called ''Chicken Got Mad'', LOL. That baby is talking a lot now. He's my heart's delight.

Cold up here, but it just hit 40F, so it's well above freezing.

Good afternoon, @Kaila and all.

It's been a blustery day here but no rain so I went into town this morning. Bought some Christmas presents for granddaughters so that's them all sorted. Going to get football (soccer) tickets for grandson and his dad (my youngest son) for their Christmas presents. Well, I won't actually be getting them, I'll give some money to my son to sort it out otherwise I'd probably cock it all up. 😆 I have to leave it to him regardless because of working out which dates are suitable.

On that note, I'm off. Just had a text to say grandson in work tomorrow so they are both coming round to see me now. By the time they've gone home it will be time for me to settle down and watch the evening's tele which includes Strictly Come Dancing followed by snooker.:cool:
