I was pretty amazed by this coincidence living in such a large city as Dallas.
I used to have a hair stylist that I dearly loved. Her parents were from the same small town in NC that my mother was from so we clicked. I had tickets to Phantom and hubby had to work so I invited her to join me. She did. She was somewhat quirky and continually talked about her boyfriend, Dante. Apparently he was a part-time standup comic. I quit going to her several years ago when she left the salon.
So, I was with the family last week in a small cafe in a funky area of town. Our server said his name was Dante. I thought surely it couldn't be the same one but after we finished lunch I went up to him and asked if he had a girlfriend named Michelle. He said "Yes". I couldn't believe it! I told him she used to cut my hair and to make sure he told her that Doug said hello.
It sometimes is a small world!
