Just noticed that the apartment across the walkway has their tree up. If I was nosy I could take out my binoculars and see if there are presents ๐Ÿ‘ƒ ๐Ÿ˜

What about outside lights?

I bought my daughter a Charlie Brown Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ as space is cramped.

Quite a few people in my neighborhood decorated for Christmas the weekend after Halloween.

One home has both with skeletons and pumpkins wearing Santa hats.

I often wonder where some of these people store all of their elaborate holiday decorations, some of them must store them offsite.

I never seem to catch the Christmas spirit until quite late in the season and even then Iโ€™m more of a wreath on the door and candle in the window kind of person, save the money for treats and presents! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜‚

I doubt I do this year unless DH actually participates in the chore of helping with everything it involves - beginning to end.

We buy a real one a couple of weeks prior to Christmas. It needs watering plenty so all its needles donโ€™t fall all over. I love the smell of a fresh tree.
Me, too! But I just walk outside my door for that.

I don't decorate for holidays anymore. Nobody to do it for except me and it's just too much work, plus I don't have space to store all of that stuff. It's kind of a relief, lol.

My man cuts all our firewood so I get the same type of smell when I go outside but a freshly cut tree in the house smells different.
Maybe you could get a miniature one for your house. Surely you are worth doing it for.

I start decorating Thanksgiving weekend, after we have our gathering. But we donโ€™t put the tree up till mid December because Ron likes a live tree, so any earlier and it wouldnโ€™t look fresh for Christmas.

Weโ€™re still trying to figure out where to put it! We moved into this house September of last year, then Ron fell out of the attic and broke his foot Thanksgiving weekend, so I never did finish the decorating including getting a tree. I had a small artificial one that we put on the kitchen table but that was it.

So this year we have to problem-solve where weโ€™d put one which will likely mean moving some piece of furniture out of the living room so we have room.

By rule, it never goes up till after Remembrance Day... I think this is the earliest it's ever been up in the last twenty years.. It's a prelit tree... No decorations on it, but it's up... Our new pup. Duke doesn't seem to care about it...

Normally, it goes up in the first week of December sometime...
Oh Mike, can we see a picture of your new pup! Oh please ! Oh please!
