You're right about our shopping goal for today. ☺️

We picked up the basic grocery order, and a few things from the farm market, And stocked the freezer with salmon.

That's a full day for us.
Tomorrow, a rest day.
We saw cardinals at our window, a few times, today.
Frosts every night now.

Good morning, all. Got the bus into town yesterday morning and then walked too far carrying shopping, which wasn't really heavy but felt it after a while. I have scoliosis and it does cause some backache especially when I walk too far and for too long. Good excuse to lie on the settee for the afternoon and watch darts on tele. :cool:

I too hope that @RadishRose is okay and will be back here soon. Also, that you @Medusa are feeling better today. And, @Kaila - hope you manage your day of rest today. 🤗

As for me, well I'm about to research 'best telescopes for beginners' 🔭. My eldest granddaughter is doing A (Advanced) Level phsyics and is particularly interested in astrophysics, so dad (my eldest son) has asked if I'd do a bit of research on them. He knows I enjoy doing things like that. After a bit of research it will be time to watch the darts again.

I did start feeling better toward late afternoon early evening and woke much improved today! Phew! - Thank you for good thoughts; you guys are lovely. ♥️

The day goes well; I'm finished with all my morning 'things,' will be taking Lucius for his second walk in about 30 minutes, after which I'll be baking some peanut butter/oatmeal cookies because they are husband's faves.

Boyfriend and I will catch a couple more episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge, at some point today, likely. We've been enjoying this season. Is it awful that I kind of wish the die packs they use to simulate shooting the contestants were red instead of black?

@Pam, hope your telescope research proves fruitful and you had a nice time at your son's. :giggle:

Good morning @Kaila and all....it's a bright, sunny morning at the moment, plus the temperature has risen to a heady 50F. :cool: Rocco has just eaten his breakast and is 'resting'. I'll leave him be for a while and attempt to get him to the park later!

Pleased that you are feeling better @Medusa, long may it continue:). Hoping also, that all is well with @RadishRose and that everyone is indeed feeling good. I had a lovely time at my son's and was able to pass on a few links to granddaughter re telescopes which should help her make a decision. There's no rush, she's hoping to use it next year when they go camping in the nearby Lake District which is one of the best places in England to observe the stars/planets. etc. Plus, there is an observatory where they go camping so the plan is to visit that while they are there.

My granddaughters asked if I fancied camping. I replied with a firm NO. I have never been and although I used to enjoy hiking etc. I always liked to come home to my own bed each evening. So my son then asked how I'd feel about staying in a yurt or shepherd's hut etc. I still said no, it's got to be a 5 star hotel. 😉

@Pam - Some of those yurts are like staying at a 5 star hotel. There’s one not to far from us. They must have 4 or 5 yurts and they are often booked solid. They have a Woodstove, a bathroom with a shower in them, a huge king sized bed, a kitchenette and just about everything you can think of to make your stay most enjoyable. You might change your mind if you tried it.
