what's stupid about it ?Boy, is it stupid.
That wasn’t me. There must be two of us that think dancing is stupid. Lol. Btw, it’s only stupid for men.I remember this topic of yours from the other forum
Which dances don't you like Jacko? Which ones have you tried?
Good dancing is when one stops thinking and just let's their feelings lead ...
I liked watching professional couples in competitions. If you watch a couple dancing a pasodoble this is pure magic. I watched it even as a teenager and young man, but could never make up my mind taking dancing lessons.Boy, is it stupid.
No, some women also find it stupid. That wasn’t me. There must be two of us that think dancing is stupid. Lol. Btw, it’s only stupid for men.
they certainly do dance.. albeit their own kind of dancing these days... but those dance clubs aside.. amateur & professional dance clubs are extremely popular espeically since the onset of TV shows like Strictly come dancing, and the American offshoot.. of the original British dance show.. Dancing with the stars!Do young people dance these days? I don't think I've ever heard a song from the 21st century that even made me want to tap my foot, much less get up and dance to. Most of the time when you see people dancing any more, they're dancing to classic rock music... that is, unless it's country music. I think people still dance to country music.
Meh, they probably still dance. It's a way to meet someone for a potential romantic encounter, so they must still do it. What do I know? I haven't been to a dance club since the early '90s.![]()
Haha - I loved that episode. We've been watching Seinfeld reruns on Paramount+ and this episode came up the other day.
I'd rather be a bad dancer than someone who stands on the sidelines judging others. There must be two of us that think dancing is stupid. Lol. Btw, it’s only stupid for men.
I have danced all my life, I attended a dance school as part of my regular education as a child, and I always wanted to dance professionally and never got the chance..One couple we know years ago took dancing lesson & are excellent ball room dancers & have enjoyed it for years.
My wife and I dance almost every evening. It's rare when we don't....only when my pain is too severe. She doesn't think my dancing looks stupid at all, even when I have to do it in my wheelchair.Boy, is it stupid.
we also as teens went dancing all the time... at least twice a week..every friday night and every Sunday night even tho' we had work on Monday morning....My friends and I used to dance the nights away in college . . . at nightclubs after about 10 beers and/or shots. I can't say I was any good, and it's very likely I did indeed look stupid.
"Dancing" is an awfully broad brush to paint with. There are so many types.
If I lived in a bigger city, and I weren't such a klutz, I'd seek out polka dance lessons, or perhaps ballroom dancing, or square dancing.
