I've noticed that too but when I finally get them opened, they are fine.I've noticed BTW that bananas these days are very hard to open!

Just off Deacon's Hill I believe. And therefore not far down from where Stanley Kubrick's house was up on Barnet Lane.Did you know that Simon Cowell grew up in Elstree?
A little paraffin shaved into the chocolate makes it stick. Squares of food grade paraffin are sold in groceries. Called Gulf Wax.

I wish our roads were clear enough or had less traffic even to just be able to drive 50 miles without too much tought... instead of the jam packed, sardine like filled roads that we have here that means that it's a real trial these days to think of jumping in the car and going somewhere on a whim... I miss those daysWith the holiday past and today the last day of Black Friday pricing, am wondering given the midnight start of Cyber Monday pricing into further Christmas season days, if prices change on the two expensive items I've held off on purchasing till now, a Pixel 10 Pro and Sigma 17mm to 40mm DC ART lens?
Our Thanksgiving dinner went well and finally met my 2 year old great grand nephew. Tonight, may drive 50 miles north to Berkeley for an AC/DC tribute band event that will obviously have lots of young university students in attendance. And then after 2 quiet weekend days, on Monday is another Dead jam band evening event at a familiar venue.
awww... why did they not come?... I bet you were disappointed.. as much for the company as the food I suspect...Morning all folks!! I slept in a bit better last nite yay!! Feel okay if
a bit of sore joints, which is usual at this age....I made it a do nothing
day yesterday and did it quite well thankyouverymuch!!!! One of
my friends was a no-show with the turkey dinner plate, so luckily
I had my Marie Callendar frozen turkey dinner for celebration on
the day....but it is a dissapointment nowadays.....the quality/quantity
has gone straight down to the bottom....ah well no plans for today at all!!!![]()
I think we all can...I can remember the days when there was NO black Friday.....
Well, I will tell you the monkey's secret. Don't open them at the top. Simply twist that little knot at the bottom. It is much easier to open a banana that way, plus you can pretend to be a great ape or something while you are doing it!A little paraffin shaved into the chocolate makes it stick. Yes, you would think so. Maybe Angers is different! Doubt it, though.I don't know why your daughter says that French women are tiny.. it's not generally true.. they come in all shapes and sizes like most of us.. altho' they don't have a big overweight problem there.....yet !
Yes that's what I do but you used to just bend the stem end and it opened. Not any more! My toddler grandson HAS to open the banana himself so I do have to sneak a slit in it but WHY don't they open anymore?Make a small horizontal slit about a half inch below the stem of the banana and pull up and over.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know there was food grade paraffin.
