When I was a kid and a teen, Eggnog season was something I greatly looked forward to. Haven't had Eggnog in years. Thinking maybe I should correct that oversight this year

I love plain eggnog, no alcohol. I just buy it at Walmart - I didn't pay any attention to the brand. A local ice cream parlor sells Eggnog ice cream this time of year, which is similar to a very rich, creamy vanilla. If they sold it year-round, I'd buy it anytime instead of vanilla.

I like eggnog, but I like boiled custard better. I buy it, but I would like to try to make it myself at least once.
@Muskrat, I don't think of eggnog being that sweet. What brand did you try? I don't like super sweet things.
I found a recipe for a no-bake eggnog pie that I'm going to make. I bought the egg nog, but I forgot the instant vanilla pudding.

I worship eggnog but it appears to be available only on Thanksgiving. I buy my eggnog from Walgreens or CVS and pour them into stainless steel ice cream containers with screw on caps.

I love eggnog. I used to have it with Baileys Irish cream. Now that I donāt drink I donāt often buy it. It IS really sweet. Itās nice in coffee.

I love eggnog, but it is too rich to have much at a time for me. What i do is buy a quart of it in the holiday season and add it to my morning coffee instead of regular milk or cream, and sometimes I dilute it with milk and then it last longer.

My wife's a fan, I'm sugar and cream addicted so it's tough for me to stay away from. Grate some nutmeg on top for the win! We buy from Cloverleaf Farm in Buhl, Idaho.

I love Bailey's Irish Cream. I'm not going to ruin it with eggnog.
I am surprised to see Turkey Hill in there. They are a dairy company and they make very good egg nog.

I love eggnog but I don't buy it because I'd be tempted to drink too much of it. I doubt I'll be attending any holiday parties where I could get a glass of it. I also love eggnog ice cream, which I haven't seen in a long time. I may pick up a quart of eggnog, now that you mention it. My blood sugar is being controlled better and I'll have to just control myself.

Iām a big fan of eggnog.
When we were kids our mother always made us a glass of this simple eggnog when we were sick. I still use this basic recipe during the holidays with the addition of some heavy whipping cream in place of part of the milk.
Eggnog for one
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
grated nutmeg
Whirl in a blender and add a shot of booze if you like.
Byrne Dairy is the local cult favorite, along with peppermint flavored milk.
