Good Morning, Kaila and Friends.

I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that my social media time (here and Reddit) has been creeping up... and up, such that I'm on it when I don't need to be and it's cutting into other aspects of my life. So, I've resolved, at least for a while, to be on in the mornings, see how everyone's doing and then focus on life off screens. Well, social media screens, because seriously, so much of everything is on screens now, e.g., books, tv, music, etc.
I watched (ha, screens) a couple Youtube videos on simple four patch quilting yesterday and I think that's where I'm going with my first quilt.
I'm going through a bit of emotional struggle lately and boyfriend, being the lovely guy he is, has been keeping me close. We're going to hang out on Zoom today and maybe play some Animal Crossing.
Watched our hockey team, um,
not win, last night, but it was still fun. Husband used to play hockey; he was a goal tender when I met him (armature league, not NHL). But now, he claims I am the more passionate fan. He does love it though and he's a fun hockey companion.
And I spent the entire day eating leftovers. I mean, all day.

-So back to counting today.
@Kaila, I know it's been a bit rough for you the last several days. Hopefully, you can get some rest

over the weekend. I miss our bird company already. As always, I am impressed with your resilience and tenacity.
@katlupe, hope your issues resolve and you're feeling better soon. Good thoughts for you.
@CallMeKate, I've never thought to put baked beans on mashies, but you know, I can see it. --Really though, try the Cheetos, the crunchy ones, on mashies with gravy.
@RadishRose, I've done that too, the chips on tuna sandwiches! They just go so well flavor-wise and the crunch is nice.
Sorry this was long, you guys; I think I had pent-up chat energy.
Wishing
everyone here a wonderful Saturday!
